Trivia

  • This is the first time that Mario appears in an episode as a victim.
  • Charlotte is similar to Ben ("The Case of the Big Mouth Challenge"), due to her difficulty on socialising with people.
  • Maudie, in this episode, mentions that her hair is always short because her father always cuts it since he was tired of getting the knots out.

Cultural References

  • Charlotte is similar to Connie Masheswaran, from Steven Universe, due to her difficulty in socialising with the other children.

Continuity

  • During a flashback, Charlotte was reading Head Scratchers, the same book that Ezra started reading in "The Case of the Curious New Girl".
  • When Maudie fires herself from the inbestigators in "The Case of the Interrupting Intern", is revealed that Ava gave her a ponytail to put on her hair when it grows, but she uses the same justification that she never used because her father always cut her hair when it grew.
